Game Preview
The IPL 2020 has been progressing in the most unexpected ways. The Delhi Capitals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore are at the 1st and 2nd position at the points table respectively with 3 wins from 4 games each. Both look to be in a good flow and are settled. It will hence be interesting to see how things go when Bangalore clashes with Delhi on the 5th of October at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. We are surely in for an exciting clash and possibly the match of the season.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
Bangalore is coming off a thumping 8-wicket win against Rajasthan Royals and will be flying in confidence. The best part about that win was that captain Virat Kohli got back into form with a composed unbeaten 72* (off 53 balls). Young opener Devdutt Padikkal has now hit 3 fifties in the season already and is looking like a solid presence at the top of the order. With the likes of Aaron Finch and AB de Villiers in the ranks, Bangalore now has a powerful batting unit that should concern the opposition teams.

Bangalore’s bowling has been their bane in the past but this season the unit is doing a fine job. Isuru Udana and Navdeep Saini have been good as the seam bowlers of the side while Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal are choking oppositions with their spin.
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals is coming off a solid 18-run win in a high-scoring encounter against the Kolkata Knight Riders. They are a well-balanced side being led superbly by Shreyas Iyer who is fresh off an unbeaten 88 off 37 balls in the last match. Young opener Prithvi Shaw, who scored a 65 in the previous game against Kolkata, along with Rishabh Pant and Marcus Stoinis, will be the other batsmen to watch out for.

Delhi’s bowling is being led by the South African pace duo of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje who have been doing an excellent job. The return of off-spinner Ravi Ashwin will bolster their bowling while Amit Mishra’s experience will be quite useful.
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals: Cricket Betting Tips
In the last 5 matches between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, Bangalore has won 3 times while lost 2 games. Interestingly, Bangalore lost both their matches against Delhi last season. However, this time things might be different as Bangalore looks much more settled and confident.
The pitch at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium is even and has something on offer for both the batsmen and the bowlers. The team batting first would look to target a total of around 170-180. The surface slows down a little as the game progresses and chasing might not be easy.
This will be a good battle as both teams are almost equally matched. However, Bangalore has a slight edge as they have more firepower in their ranks. The game can go either way if De Villiers has a blast or if Rabada has a terrific spell. But it would be better to put your money on the Royal Challengers Bangalore as the winner of this clash.
