The 2019-20 NBA Restart will have a fascinating clash this Saturday between Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz. This will be a very interesting face-off between two strong teams from Western Conference. Both sides are in good form with Oklahoma having a 40-24 win-loss record in this season while Utah Jazz being at 42-23. These equally matched sides could well produce the best match of the restart phase.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Oklahoma has great form currently and are placed 5th in the West. Chris Paul has been their shining knight this season, guiding the team to many victories. Along with Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dennis Schroder have been the big scorers for the team and the three have formed a deadly trio that the opposition would need to really watch out for.
Rugged center Steven Adams and a super vivacious Danilo Gallinari also give Oklahoma a further edge. These five players have outscored the opponents by 30.1 points per 100 possessions this season, and coach Billy Donovan would be banking on his Fab Five to create the magic on the big game day.
Placed fourth in the West, the Utah Jazz are in a nice position as they restart their season. They won their opening game of NBA’s restart with an impressive 106-104 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on the night of July 30.
Rudy Gobert, who was diagnosed with the virus, has returned to the fold and All-Star center’s presence is a big boost for the team. Then there is Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell and his partnership with Gobert will be something to look forward to in the remaining games. Mitchell scored 20 points in the last game and looked in terrific flow. Both Mitchell and Gobert combined netted 34 points in that match.
Mike Conley is the team’s veteran point guard and he too scored 20 points in the match against Pelicans which is great news for the team. He had a dreadful start to the season but it seems that he is now ready to ensure a greater offensive burden for Utah and take them to the playoffs. Joe Ingles has been one of the top players for the team this season and he could be making a defining show this game.
Oklahoma City Thunder Vs Utah Jazz NBA Betting Tips
In their last 5 games, Jazz has won 4 and lost just 1. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City Thunder have fared decently too in their last 5 encounters – winning 3 in a row after losing 2. Both teams play very good defense and the margin isn’t really big in this one.
Oklahoma had found great form in their last few games and were moving like a well-oiled machine. A lot would of course depend on Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s performances. However, Utah Jazz’s victory in their opening game of the restart season must have boosted their confidence. Oklahoma still seems like the better side right now and it would be safer to bet on their victory in this particular clash. It should, however, be a high-scoring game and we should see at least 223 points being scored.
