Form Guide: Last 5 Games(W/L): 3/2 LWWWL
India faced a rude awakening in the 3rd match at Ranchi where Australia outplayed them in every department. If it wasn’t for another masterclass from Virat Kohli the team would not have reached even a semblance of a respectable total.
The circus moves to Mohali now in what is one of the best cricket facility in India with the focus more on the world cup than the current series(this would be the penultimate 50 over match before world cup). Kuldeep Yadav has been India’s ace up their sleeves throughout this series but keeping an eye on the world cup it makes sense to give Chahal a couple of games as well.

Dhoni has been rested for the last two games which means Rishab Pant gets a go and KL Rahul also comes in for Dhawan for a much-needed chance to shine. Bhuvaneshwar could get a look in as well as Shami gets a much-deserved rest.
The Indian team has lost the last two series it has competed in (the two T20I series against Australia and New Zealand) which makes these last two matches very crucial for the team.
The player under the spotlight
It has to be Ambati Rayadu, even though he averages close to 50 in ODIs, by no means his place would be secure with he’s been dismissed in this series. With Rishab Pant getting a chance it could be a clear sign of India looking for options
Probable XI: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant(wk), KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja

Australian cricket team’s form has been horrible in recent times but the ODI in Ranchi could prove to be the turning point for them as it answered a lot of the questions for them. Khwaja got a hundred, Finch struck form, Cummins delivered. This was the Australian team of old, choking the opposition and even weathering the storm of a Kohli masterclass.
The addition of Jhye Richardson worked wonders as he was able to choke the opposition batting in the beginning and Zampa did what he does best by contributing with wickets at regular intervals.
The Aussies wouldn’t want anything more than putting one over their rivals and gather some much-needed momentum before the circus reaches the world cup. It’s highly likely they might field the same team to build on the momentum.
The player under the spotlight
Alex Carey has been doing an admirable job of late but one can’t help but feel he’s not your ideal player at the death. He can’t bring out the big shots and until now he hasn’t shown anything to change that perception. With a certain Mathew Wade waiting in the reserves Carey could be under a lot of pressure to contribute.
Probable XI: Aaron Finch (captain), Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Alex Carey, Peter Handscomb, Adam Zampa, Jhye Richardson, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon,
India Vs Australia 4th ODI Preview and Prediction
Overall India is a better unit and more often than not you would expect them to beat Australia. Mohali is one of the better pitches for fast bowlers in India so Australia could look to put India in first.
We predict another game with a 300 plus score on the cards but with the pitch probably expected to be a lot truer than the one in Ranchi we expect India to snatch another win and take the series.
