The football season everywhere has come to a halt because of the ongoing pandemic. Plenty of leagues were halted mid-way, including the 2019/20 Bundesliga season. Hoffenheim have found a real gem in 20-year-old Austrian footballer Christoph Baumgartner. The talented midfielder scored four goals along with one assist in the current season and took 37 shots. While he has only played 19 matches in his Bundesliga career so far, he has been truly impressive. Baumgartner is a versatile player and has shown the ability to perform from any position. He’s technically sound, dribbles well and appears to have a mature head on his shoulders.

Ismail Jakobs

In his short career so far, Ismail has had two goals and an assist and has impressed in the limited opportunities he has got. He is one of those players who combines pace and power and is extremely skillful with his passes. The 20-year-old offers a goal threat and will be an important tool for his team in the coming seasons.

Also, he has explosive pace and is terrific with his left foot. While Davies was originally signed as a winger, he has done a remarkable job at left-back. He is fast developing into the best young player in the league.
